COVID Family Update 5-4-2020

We would like to provide an update in regards to how we continue to keep our patients and residents safe.

We are working with the hospitals to screen all new admissions and returning patients for signs and symptoms prior to coming to D’Youville. Our admissions team are scrutinizing medical records prior to admission.

Our providers continue to assess patients for changes in conditions . We continue to screen all staff in accordance with CDC recommendations and all staff mask in a surgical mask.

Our patients continue to have innovative activities, which includes social distancing and wearing of cloths masks.

We continue zoom and FaceTime meetings and provider appointments via telemedicine. We continue to work closely with CDC, participating in calls, meetings, and webinars with the most updated guidance.

When we have questions, we contact CDC for their interpretation. We are doing our due diligence to protect all of our patients, residents, and staff.
