Lorraine Hughes, RN
Interim Executive Director
Lorraine began her nursing career at d’Youville Pavilion after graduating from Central Maine Community College in 2000 with her Associate Degree in Applied Science. She continued advancing her education, earning her BSN from Saint Joseph’s College in 2016 and her master’s in healthcare administration from Purdue Global in 2022. Lorraine became a licensed Administrator in 2023 and stepped into the Interim Administrator role in 2026, bringing a mission driven, resident-centered approach to long-term care leadership. With more than two decades of experience in the Lewiston–Auburn community, she is committed to supporting staff, strengthening care processes, and fostering a warm, homelike environment for residents and families. Outside of work, she enjoys hiking and spending time with her family, especially her two grandchildren.

Debra Berube
Director of Nursing
As the Director of Nursing at St. Mary’s d’Youville Pavilion, Deb is responsible for the leadership and management of the nursing department. In this position, Deb assumes 24-hour responsibility and accountability for direction and coordination of nursing services in collaboration with all other ancillary departments.
Deb has been a nurse for just under 30 years, with most of that time serving our elders. Deb has been with St. Mary’s d’Youville Pavilion since 2004 and has worked in various roles throughout the facility to include Nurse Unit Manager, Health and Safety Manager, and Assistant Director of Nursing. These roles helped Deb to grow in her experience which contributes to her role as the Director of Nursing.
In her spare time, Deb spends time with friends and family including three grandchildren, 3 grand-dogs, and 4 grand-cats. Favorite places to go are wherever it’s warm.
