St. Mary’s D’Youville Pavilion has three long-term care units to meet your care needs. Each unit offers a supportive resident-centered environment and focuses on helping residents achieve their highest level of independence. A 24-hour skilled nursing service provides medical and support services for our elderly residents with chronic conditions or prolonged illness. With 24-7 provider oversight, various specialties such as nursing, physical therapy, speech therapy, social services and activities work in collaboration to provide the best outcome for each resident.
During the warm weather months, residents can enjoy our gated patio area, which offers flower gardens, seating and a gazebo. Special recreation programs take place year-round with barbeques in the summer, monthly outings, Easter, Thanksgiving, Veteran’s Day, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day and Christmas meals with families.
Residents have access to a comprehensive range of rehabilitation services, including physical, occupational, speech and recreational therapy. To enhance resident safety, we use the Wander Guard system. This system features a small device worn like a watch. When the resident approaches an exit, the door automatically locks and an alarm sounds.
