The Nursing Restorative Program at St. Mary’s d’Youville Pavilion helps to maintain or restore physical functioning in the elders who reside here. Restorative Nursing programs include services such as: ambulation, therapeutic feeding, range of motion, swallowing and dressing/grooming. These services are delivered to residents by Certified Nursing Assistants who are specially trained in such care.
The goals set for each resident are specific, measurable, and evaluated monthly. There have been many success stories as a result of this program, which maintains and improves the quality of life for residents.
