Today, we started another round of COVID-19 testing of our staff sending 226 samples to the lab for processing. Tomorrow we will swab the remainder of our team to conclude our weekly testing. You may have also heard that the positivity rate in Androscoggin county is lower. This means that we were able to safely start indoor visits this week! Being able to hold indoor visits is especially important to our residents and families. While we still have infection prevention protocols to follow when having indoor visits it is so important to our residents and we know they have waited a long time for this day! We are hopeful that if positivity rates continue to drop and more people are vaccinated that we may be able to have other restrictions lifted and return to a new normal.
