Announcement of Front and Rear Entrance Lockdown at St. Mary’s d’Youville Pavilion

Dear Residents, Visitors, Vendors, and Employees,

We are writing to inform you about an important update regarding the security of our facility.

Effective Monday 7/29/24, the front and rear entrance doors to St. Mary’s d’Youville Pavilion will be locked 24 hours per day.  This is to ensure the safety and security of everyone on our premises.

Visitors will use the doorbell/intercom system outside the front of the facility. Receptionist will let you in during the hours below. For off hours, visitors will use the phone outside the front of the facility.

The receptionist hours are: Monday through Thursday: 6:30a-8:30p, Friday, Saturday and Sunday: 8:30a-5p

All vendors will enter through the front entrance. Cardiac Rehab will be responsible for letting their patients in the back door.

We will be issuing all staff (including agency staff) a badge to enter through the back entrance.  Those staff will be assigned and are responsible to maintain badges assigned.  There will be a $10 charge to replace a badge if it is lost.

United Ambulance staff have active fobs that allow them quick access into the facility.

We understand this may cause some inconvenience, but the safety of our residents/employees/visitors is our top priority.  These measures are being implemented to provide a safer environment and to ensure only authorized individuals have access to our facility. Please be patient if you ring the buzzer and the receptionist doesn’t respond immediately. She may be on the phone or assisting someone else.

If you have any questions or require further information about the new procedures, please do not hesitate to contact us. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation as we implement these important security enhancements.

Thank you for your attention to this matter.
