Today we received the results of the 192 staff swabs sent yesterday and they were all NEGATIVE. Today we sent an additional 89 swab samples from staff and anticipate receiving results of those test within 24-36 hours. We will conclude our surveillance testing of all staff on Friday this week.
We are thankful for these results and will continue with our strict infection prevention measures. The support from residents, families and staff in following these infection prevention guidelines is much appreciated. We know that these “rules” can be annoying and an inconvenience at times but ultimately, they are the tools we have to keep COVID-19 out of the facility and keep our residents safe.
