COVID-19 Family Update 12-20-2021

The results of staff/residents testing on Friday have returned negative. We have been in consultation with the CDC and will be testing the staff who have had contact with the positive individual from 4 East again on Wednesday, 12/22. All 4 East residents will continue to be monitored for signs and symptoms of COVID-19, and testing completed as warranted. This afternoon we were notified of another staff member that developed symptoms overnight and subsequently tested positive. This individual worked last, on Sunday, on our 4 West unit. We are currently in the process of notifying residents and their responsible parties. All residents and staff working on 4 West on 12/19 will be tested on Wednesday, 12/22.

We continue to follow strict infection prevention guidelines and encourage our visitors to do the same. With the holidays upon us and the current COVID-19 surge in our area we ask that visitors postpone their visit if they are not feeling well or have been in contact with someone exhibiting symptoms of COVID-19. While visiting we encourage you to wear your mask (over your nose and mouth), wash your hands and remain socially distant. We continue to navigate the challenges that COVID-19 has brought us and are asking for your help in keeping our residents/your loved ones and the members of our care team safe. We will continue provide updates regarding COVID-19 here.
