At this time we currently have 4 patients on 2 East, one of our skilled Rehabilitation units that are recovering from COVID-19. Additionally, there is 1 resident on 4 East and 1 resident on 3 East who are recovering from COVID-19 after developing symptoms and testing positive. Testing from Thursday on 4 East and 2 East units revealed that all other residents are negative. Testing on 3 East was conducted today and revealed all other resident are negative. Further testing on 4 East will be completed on Sunday, 12/18/22. The next testing on 2 East will be Monday 12/19/2022. Additional testing on 3 East will be done on Tuesday 12/20/2022. We remain in consultation with the CDC. Due to the amount of respiratory illness circulating in the community, it has made it extremely challenging to keep these viruses out of our building. From what we have heard, our community has been facing the same challenges as other local long term care facilities. We continue to ask our visitors to postpone their visit if they are experiencing symptoms of illness or has been exposed to someone who is ill. If you choose to visit, please wash your hands before, during and after your visit and wear your mask over your mouth and nose.
