We have not yet received the 220 swab results back from yesterday but anticipate the results back shorty.
As it is imperative to be transparent regarding COVID-19, we wanted to share with our community that we learned that one of our nonclinical employees has tested positive for COVID-19. This employee has been excluded from work since December 10th . This employee is being followed by the Employee Health department and will follow CDC guidelines, only returning to work once those guidelines have been met. All residents and when applicable their representatives have been notified.
We will continue to monitor our residents for signs and symptoms of COVID. As a reminder, all staff are screened at the door for signs and symptoms of COVID prior to the start of their shift. We will complete employee surveillance testing tomorrow.
