We continue to test our residents on 2 East and 2 West for COVID-19. We currently have 4 positive patients on the Transitional Rehab unit. These patients have little to no symptoms and are currently quarantining in their rooms. We continue to consult with the CDC regarding our COVID positive cases and the various types of exposures they have had. Androscoggin County remains an area of high transmission and we continue to encourage visitors to refrain from visiting if they are experiencing any type of symptom. If our patients/residents loved one’s choose to visit during this time, we request that they keep their well-fitting masks on for the entire visit, practice thorough hand hygiene and remain in the designated visitation space on the unit they are visiting. Another round of testing will be done on November 1st and we will continue to provide updates here as we know more.
