We continue to provide mandatory testing for all unvaccinated staff members. This continues to be optional for all vaccinated staff members. Yesterday afternoon we were informed that a fully vaccinated staff member that participated in this round of testing, tested positive. All other tests from that round of testing have returned negative. This staff member worked on Monday on one of our long-term care units, 4 East. All residents and when applicable their responsible parties, have been notified of the positive result. After consultation with the CDC, we have suspended visitation to 4 East and through contact tracing have tested all staff that worked on that unit. We have also tested all residents that reside on 4 East. We anticipate having those results back tomorrow. We will be in contact with the CDC for further guidance once we receive these results and you will hear more from us then.
