This afternoon we were informed that a vaccinated clinical employee from St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center that was briefly in our building on Monday, 8/23/2021 tested positive for COVID-19. This employee did have patient/resident contact with individuals on the 2nd and 3rd floor. We are currently in the process of notifying patients/residents and their responsible parties when applicable. This means we are classified as a suspected outbreak by the CDC and must halt visitation until we complete a round of testing for COVID-19 to know the extent of any transmission. We will be testing all members of our care team and all residents tomorrow and Friday and will continue to post updates here.
