Today we received the remaining 50 staff tests and the results returned negative. We have been in consultation with the CDC and have resumed visitation with residents. We continue to encourage outdoor visitation when possible and ask that all visitors adhere to our visitation policy which includes remaining in the visitation area, wearing your facemask and washing your hands. We also provide each visitor with this information at the time of screening when they arrive at the facility. We will be testing all employees again on Friday and Monday. Additional testing of residents on the affected unit will take place again on Friday this week. We continue to be in a “suspected outbreak” status and hope to clear this once we have 2 more complete rounds of negative testing. We appreciate everyone’s patience and understanding as we continue to navigate through the enhanced testing and safety precautions that an outbreak entails. We will continue to post updates here with the latest status of testing.
