Today we started another round of employee testing and sent 224 staff swabs for processing. We will continue swabbing the remainder of our staff tomorrow. We anticipate having results back from todays testing sometime tomorrow.
As many of you may have seen the CDC put out a well-publicized report about what you can do differently if you have been vaccinated. This is an exciting step in the right direction as we continue to persevere through the COVID-19 pandemic. Unfortunately, the guidance is only applicable to non-healthcare settings. While we anticipate ongoing changing guidance, at this time we will continue mask, wear face shields, socially distance and practice stringent infection control measures. Our surveillance testing practices will also continue in accordance with weekly positivity rates in Androscoggin County. We thank all of our staff, residents and families for their ongoing dedication to keeping our community safe and free of COVID-19.
