Sorry for the delay in reporting Wednesday’s lab results. We have been sorting out a lab issue in which 15 samples were inadvertently not processed. We received the remaining swab results from Wednesday’s testing of staff and they were all negative. The 15 staff that this impacted will be retested for this week. The good news is that the positivity rate is dropping which is a welcomed trend. This week the positivity rate in Androscoggin county was 5%. This doesn’t change how we proceed with testing or the infection control measures that we have in place. We will continue to follow the strict infection preventions measures and testing protocols that we have in place to protect our residents and staff!
