We have found that what you hear in the news about Omicron is true! We are in the unenviable position of having COVID-19 on all units within our facility. The increase in transmissibility of the Omicron variant is present in our facility and we have seen an uptick in positive cases in both our staff and residents. We remain in consultation with the CDC, diligently following their guidance. Due to the amount of positive cases we have temporarily suspended visitation, with the exception of compassionate care cases. The task of containing spread of COVID-19 to our residents is our first priority, second to keeping our visitors safe from contracting COVID-19. We will be testing residents and staff on Thursday, 1/27/2022. We will keep you posted here as we know more.
