Dr. Daniel Stanhiser joined d’Youville Pavilion as the Medical Director in 2026. He graduated from Loma Linda University in California with his MD in 2001 and has served at mission hospitals in Africa. In 2011, Dr. Stanhiser relocated to Maine where he worked as a hospitalist at CMMC, Lewiston, and joined the St. Mary’s Health System family in 2022. Dr. Stanhiser is board certified in family practice, hospital medicine and palliative care making him well-suited to provide leadership and compassionate, whole-person centered care to our community. Daniel and his family live in Auburn and enjoy spending time outdoors at sporting events year-round.
